Advanced Technology
A Zeiss Contura 7/7/6 CMM gives us the confidence to measure critical dimensions is three-dimensional space, an absolute must when measuring the complex geometry defined by GD&T callouts such as true position, Concentricity, Cylindricity and Profile of a Surface. This piece of equipment allows us to measure features with accuracy down to 0.4 µm (.000015”).
Our Hommel Contour 305 is quick and reliable, measuring round parts with an accuracy of 0.1 µm (.000004”). Using LED imaging, a part profile is created measuring the diameters, lengths, and even runout is captured. After being recorded, it is visually displayed, providing instant feedback to our technicians.
Mitotec also features a Mitutoyo Surftest SJ-500, which allows us to trace surfaces giving us the ability to not only measure a .003” radius on a critical edge but also understand the surface finish on it.
With several Oasis (optical) vision systems throughout the facility, accuracy is at the fingertips of all our employees. We capture, analyze and store these measurement data details giving us a complete historical record of how critical processes are running at any given time.
