New Additions

In June 2024, Mitotec Precision expanded its CNC machining capabilities by adding two more Eurotech machines to its fleet. The specifications are as follows:

Eurotech Elite Trofeo B465-SY2 2 Turrets

  • High-output 1-3/4 – 2-5/8” universal turn/mill centers with 20 HP spindle
  • Fanuc 31iTT
  • 2 12-station turrets
  • Barfeed interface
  • C-axis and depending on model
  • 5-hp live tooling, programmable sub-spindle
  • 2 Y-axes
  • Automated parts handling

Mitotec had previously installed 3 Eurotech Trofeo machines at the beginning of 2022 and three additional machine in September 2023.  As of now, there are officially 36 machines in the facility, with 8 being Eurotechs.

Adding more machines to the facility gives Mitotec increased flexibility to run multiple parts simultaneously, allows for longer setups on individual parts, boosts capacity and redundancy, and enables the company to take on more projects in that size class. Additionally, using the same Eurotech machines already in the facility simplifies setup for technicians, enhancing efficiency.

State-of-the-art technology attracts young talent, and Eurotech’s lifetime training and engineering support are invaluable for Mitotec. Working at Mitotec offers a rewarding career with opportunities to create precision parts that protect our country, save lives, and more.
