Mitotec Precision, located in Necedah, Wisconsin, is proud to announce the addition of a second Tornos MultiSwiss 8×26. Mitotec installed their first Tornos MultiSwiss in October 2019 and has since proved to be a reliable and profitable addition to the facility. The addition of a second makes Mitotec Precision one of a handful of contract shops in Wisconsin to have, not just one, but two Tornos MultiSwiss’ on site.
The Tornos MultiSwiss is a proven, clever investment for Mitotec due to the complex parts it can produce, reduced tool changeover time, reduced production cycle (up to five times over that of a single spindle machine), and the most compact footprint on the market. All of which leads to the continued growth of the company, quicker parts, shorter lead times, and lower prices for the customer.
“We don’t use the Tornos MultiSwiss in a conventional sense, it’s another one of the creative ways Mitotec continues to innovate within the competitive world of precision machining,” says Warren Schoenborn, Sales Manager at Mitotec Precision.
Current reshoring activities in the U.S. have increased demand for this technology, helping Mitotec provide globally cost-competitive machining solutions. The additional MultiSwiss also helps to further combat growing labor shortages.
“We invite our customers, old and new, to learn how this state-of-the-art technology can make a difference for them,” said John Belmonte, President of Mitotec Precision.
