Mitotec Precision, Formerly Necedah Screw Machine Products, Introduces New Brand
NECEDAH, WI – August 22, 2018 – Necedah Screw Machine Products, a Midwest-based supplier of precision machined components and assemblies, announced today the official launch of a new name and brand identity, Mitotec Precision, as well as a new tagline, “People Powering Precision.”
“We’re absolutely thrilled about our new identity and tagline here at Mitotec,” says John Belmonte, President. “Our new brand identity better represents what we’re all about – the power of our people. Nothing is changing in regards to ownership or the principles we’ve built our business on; this change is simply representative of our goal to become a larger player in the industry while maintaining our roots.”
The Mitotec name is a hybrid of several words and ideas that come together to form a unique and memorable moniker. The new name begins with the prefix ‘Mito’ – meaning “threadlike” or precise. The pronunciation of ‘Mito’ also brings about connotations of strength and might. The second half of the name is a nod to the “technical” aptitude of Mitotec’s team. Put them together and you have a powerful name that will stand the test of time.
The new Mitotec brand identity consists of a new logo icon as well as a new typeface. The black outer portion of the logo element is a combination of the machining symbols for concentricity and parallelism. The inner section is comprised of a series of three-dimensional dots that signify the quest for innovation and the forward movement of Mitotec Precision.
“People Powering Precision” is a tagline Mitotec lives by. “While precision may be what we’re known for, it’s our people that are the true power behind Mitotec,” says Belmonte. “Our future is bright and we look forward to elevating our team and customers to new heights.”
