The capabilities of our advanced technology include multi-axis live tooling for machining a wide range of operations such as profiles tapped holes, slots, flats and grooves.
Unique for its “sliding headstock” style of machining, a Swiss-type lathe utilizes a variety of tools adjacent to a supporting guide bushing to produce high accuracy machining. As the material is fed through the guide bushing and past the tool, great rigidity is produced throughout the turning process. This additional support and stability create parts with less deflection, producing better finishes and reduced chatter or taper while maintaining the tight tolerances required for today’s critical applications.
